Thomas Comes to Miami-Win a Chance to Climb Aboard!

Fact: if you’re the mom of a toddler, chances are they will go through a train phase. Don’t ask me why or how, but somewhere between 14 and 24 months the chug chug of a train is irresistible to these tiny humans! In our house, the most popular engine of all is none other than Thomas!

Even before I had a baby, Thomas has been a mainstay in our household for years. I remember vividly the “Shining Time Station” and watching Thomas with it’s faithful piano driven theme song every morning! Now, for 2017, the theme song thrills my son, and he tries to sing along whenever he hears it.

So imagine my excitement when I read that Thomas is coming to Miami for two weekends! I cannot wait for my little guy to have the entire Thomas experience.  Your family can also win a chance to have the full Thomas Experience! Keep reading to find out more.

Children everywhere can spend the day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Gold Coast Railroad Museum on March 4, 2017!

This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. Also, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities.  The tour, now in its 22nd year, will make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada– that is a lot of tooting and chugging for our favorite steam engines and 9 AM!

Attendees will be able to participate in events that encourage and celebrate friendship including photo opportunities, crafts, and a fun activity that invites kids to collect passport stamps throughout the day to receive a trio of Day Out With Thomas friendship bracelets.HOW CUTE IS THAT?!

The 2017 tour theme is in line with this year’s Thomas & Friends global brand campaign, ‘Set Friendship in Motion’ – a campaign that ties together content, social integrations, and event activations across the entire Thomas & Friends franchise to highlight the importance of first friendships and the development of key friendship skills in toddlers.

Your day at the railroad will consist of the following:

  • A 25-minute (approximate) ride with a talking Thomas the Tank Engine

  • A Meet & Greet with Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway

  • A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station featuring a variety of activities

  1. Julian has loved trains from a very early age as we have a giant HO scale model town with 5 trains running all at the same time. We are lucky that our family is always expanding and even luckier that the first 3 have all been boys! It’s great to see them all play together and talk to each other in their own special way! A+J+D= BFF’s 🙂

  2. Just yesterday my Julian was sitting in his stroller talking about Thomas to the guy fixing my moms cable 😉 He really was. He too is obsessed with trains. Watches them on YouTube. Loves to see little videos of real life trains chuggin’ away. I’m actually switching him to a toddler bed soon and getting him a Thomas bed I found at target and making his room a train station theme. Check out my post from yesterday he’s got a Thomas shirt on and is holding his little Thomas. His 2nd bday was Thomas and friends too. I’m telling you… we are SO about Thomas these days, LOL 😘
